Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: Professor goes to East Germany to learn the secrets of Soviet rockets.
Biased, pithy comments: One of the better Hitchcocks I've seen. It moves at a tense, stately pace. Acting is passable, story is a little hard to believe, though scenes of pre-collapse East Germany are interesting. Sometimes jerks you from place to place, but you're hanging on to the edge of your seat hoping they don't get caught.
Other Notes: Good use of music. Cameo is in lobby of hotel.
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: Paul Newman, Julie Andrews, Lila Kedrova, Jans-Jorg Felmy, Tamara Toumanova.
Directed by: Alfred Hitchcock
