Village of the Dammned (remake)(1995)

Wolff rating: NIGHTMARE

Plot summary: Small town women given birth to mind-controlling doom children.

Biased, pithy comments: To say that this was poor is to give a nauseating movie too much credit. Reeve is wooden, Ally is poor, poor Hamil needs to use the Force, and the rest of the cast could safely be removed forever from the silver screen without too much loss. But the real killer is the outdated, by-the-numbers script that should have been left in 1967. Dialogue is painful, action predictable, special effects cheap. Who did the costumes? Make them go away.

Other Notes: A must-not see.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Christopher Reeve, Kirstie Ally, Mark Hamil
Directed by: John Carpenter
