Werewolf(1996)

Wolff rating: MOLAR-WRENCHING

Plot summary: Some mealy-mouthed scientists find the skull of an ancient Navajo half-man, half-coyote creature.

Biased, pithy comments: This really shouldn't be called ``Werewolf.'' It should be called ``Wahr-woolf,'' as that is what the scientist played by the beautiful but clearly foreign Miles keeps saying. Actually, except for the few seconds of screen time that Joe Estevez has (he *looks* like Martin Sheen but doesn't act like him), pretty much everyone has a strong accent of some sort; none of them are competent actors, however. Incoherent, laughable, incompentent, and lacking simple things like continuity or common sense, this movie just plain sucks. This movie has some reknown as it was a very, very cheap DVD movie---don't fall for it and buy it, and perhaps Zarindast will return to the obscurity he so richly deserves.

Other Notes: \MST. The 'bots are really on fire during this episode, but they can't hide the total lack of quality.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Jorge Rivero, Richard Lynch, Federico Cavalli, Adrianna Miles, Joe Estevez, Heidi Bjorn.
Directed by: Tony Zarindast
