Plot summary: The standard Frankenstein story done Mel Brooks-style; mad scientist brings monster alive, but doesn't get the results he expects.
Biased, pithy comments: Brooks didn't screw this one up. There is still the tendency to give you a two-beat after every joke, but there are enough jokes and enough quirkiness that it's fun to watch.
