In the last two chapters we have addressed INDIE's success along the lines of scalability, flexibility, usability, and completeness. In this chapter we will explore the issues closer to the human side of INDIE: Did it serve authors' needs? How easy was it for non-programmer authors to understand and use the tool? Was INDIE effective?
